The famous glass work from the Venetian island of Murano has been created there since 1291. Over the centuries the glass makers have refined and mastered speciality techniques that have allowed them to dazzle the world with pieces that range from breathtaking chandeliers to contemporary wine stoppers. I personally have been obsessed with the history and art that comes from this little island dedicated solely to glass blowing since my first visit to Venice back in 1995.
This one-of-a-kind necklace that I acquired and carried home after my most recent trip to Italy in January may ignite that same passion in you. The elegant strands of intertwined handblown beads are mesmerizing. Wear for a dramatic day look or for a classic evening statement. It will become one of your favorites. Cierto!
19" long with base metal clasp
Curated from the Mazzega Murano glass factory.
