I love having my breath taken away. And that is exactly what happened when I walked into the AMARO boutique in Jerusalem 3 years ago. Each direction I turned my eyes feasted upon exquisite handmade combinations of natural stones, wild elements, shells and Swarovski crystals. It was impossible to chose just one, and to this day I receive the most compliments on the pieces I acquired that afternoon. You will equally treasure your AMARO jewels as I do.
The founder and creative leader of the company, Irit Goffer Sasson, has over 25 years experience in jewelry design. Her deep love of the art world and desire to express her creativity compelled her to start a small jewelry business out of her home. Steadily and gradually AMARO has grown into a successful international business known worldwide. A true testament that dreams do come true!
Ms. Sasson designs unique jewels inspired by ancient cultures, different religions and sources of feminine power found in various cultures. The global feel of her pieces is expressed through materials collected from around the world and the spirit in which they are combined. Her jewelry is plated with 24-carat gold, rhodium or silver, and embedded with natural gemstones known for their energetic value and other natural materials such as coral, shells, and various quality crystals produced by Swarovski.The combination of the wild with the processed material gives the jewel a unique and rich look. This is the distinguishing characteristic of AMARO. Today, as in the beginning, all jewelry design and production are solely executed in Israel. Each is made by hand using traditional methods.
