These intricate silver filigree earrings were handmade in Oaxaca City, Mexico by two of the country's best craftsmen, Juan Manuel Garcia Esperanza and his son, Jose Jorge Garcia Garcia. Both are considered "grand masters" of their art, are award winning and often are requested to create works for the Mexican government to give as gifts to visiting dignitaries. I was serendipitously introduced to them while in Oaxaca City, and graciously invited to their "taller" (workshop) to see them work and view their art. Watching them create was mesmerizing (view the videos here - coming soon) yet this finished pair of earrings accented with turquoise beads is even more so. They will delight you!
